Gypsy Moth MapsThis section of the GMDigest is provided to you by a joint effort between Research's Work Unit 4557 (Disturbance, Ecology, and Management of Oak-Dominated Forests) and State and Private Forestry's Forest Health Protection Unit in Morgantown, WV.Data for these maps were obtained from various sources in various formats. Some areas of defoliation have been enlarged to show their location. The individuals below have been instrumental in gathering the data to produce the maps. Gino Luzader was responsible for producing the defoliation maps from 1972-1994.
